This command updates a span length within a given fiber network allowing as-built data to be entered into the database.

As-built a Span Length

1. From the Modify/Delete section of the Fiber Tab select the Span Lengths command:

   

2. Select a span to update.
3. The Span Length dialog box opens.

   

4. Key in a new span length, check whether to add the 'Sag' factor, and then select Update.
   Note: The span table automatically updates to reflect the actual span length.
5. Activating the Place Span Length Text check box places span length text feature in the middle of the span selected.
